This five piece band has its origins in San Antonio, Texas but started when Josh and Justin Engler moved to Texas from Indiana, there they met up with cousins Dave and Stevan Vela. They began playing together in the worship band at the church and things went from there, eventually writing their own music. But after recording and playing in clubs they still felt a desire for purpose. And since then they have toured churches and played youth camps in the Northwest.

The best way to describe this band actually comes from their lyrics “An electric pulse you can’t escape”, which pretty much sums it up quite nicely. It has been referred to as “U2-meets-the Killers” and in the song Providence this is well understood. There are plenty of pounding rhythms and dance-worthy beats.

The lyrics in the songs are just as good though. In the song Providence Josh tells the story of Peter and how he denied Jesus but all he had to do was “say yes”. The other songs continue to portray Biblical truths in a non-alienating way as well.
