| The only thing I don’t like about this band is that they aren’t gonna be anywhere near Atlanta in the coming months… That is, at least not according to their tour schedule. Addison Road is a female-fronted worship band that hails out of Texas. Their songs are written and sung with such passion that you can’t help but be captured by their lyrics. And if the lyrics weren’t enough to get you into this bands sound then all you have to do is speak to them and you will see that their hearts are truly in sync with what God’s calling for them is. They all have amazing hearts for God and it shows on every song on this album. My personal favorite is “This Could Be Our Day”, a song that locks you in with its catchy tune in the beginning and then keeps you captivated with the message of how God gives us this moment and this day to play our part in the “story unfolding.” In “All That Matters” they discuss how things of this world aren’t what matters and won’t last in the long run, “all that matters is I know YOUR love has set me free” — God’s love has set us free and that is truly all that matters and Addison Road drives that home perfectly!
I could go on and on about the songs on their CD and the heart that Addison Road has, but it would take much more than even a full page to encompass all that they are and all that God has blessed them with. This band can look forward to big things coming to them and I look forward to big things coming from them as well. Addison Road is a band who’s name you will want to become familiar with. God is already using them in miraculous ways and I know it will continue.
