That’s the place that you truly find peace.” “Cadia” is a duo of truly beautiful ladies that are full of wisdom and love for their Savior. They are not afraid to proclaim their faith in Christ and they deeply desire to share that faith with every listener. ‘Cadia‘ is taken from the ancient greek word ‘Arcadia’ meaning ‘a place of peace’. Long time friends Tori and Courtney are not afraid to hit tough subjects that attack young women in our culture. Getting right to the heart of a struggle seems to be the drive to their music. For instance, “Inside Out” rocks out sending a message to ‘take your heart for a joy ride’ and let the ‘inside out’. Be true to who God made you! The majority of their songs are softer with an incredibly powerful message. “Trust In Me Now” drops down into the place of ‘weariness’ that young women feel when learning to trust. When it feels worthless to trust, ‘even though you feel alone, even though your strength is gone…trust in Me now!’. Sounding a bit country and a bit rock ‘n roll is not easily accomplished by most artists, but is a true success for these ladies. This self titled album is an intimate collection of songs that most likely were pulled straight from their heart strings. A valuable piece of artistry! This album is great for listening morning or night, inside or out. My only deterrent in listening over and over is that sometimes I prefer music that doesn’t create so much emotion. Every song seemed to tug at my heart. I thoroughly enjoyed their harmonies which seem in tune with their faith and passion. I will gladly recommend this album to any young lady in any youth group or school and pray that every mother listens to help her understand her daughter!
