Michael Barnes from Red has an amazing voice, and shows his talent by sounded 'top notch' during live shows. Miles Kennedy has this great 'distinctive' vocal power that really puts him in the 'best of' category. As far as inspiring goes, that's a tough one. I do have to agree that Christian from Anberlin has a moving voice, but I prefer his vocals in the 'softer' and 'slower' songs, rather than the more upbeat rock hits. Also, Toby Morrell from Emery is an extremely underrated vocalist. I still find it disheartening that Derick Shelton decided to leave the band... those two have got to be one of the greatest unheard of names in the music business that collaborated amazingly together.

Personally, my two favorite lately have been Stephen Keech of metalcore band Haste The Day. Just saw them last Saturday and his screaming is raw, with a quick transition to singing, that is perfect.

Personally, I think that Stephen Christian from Anberlin is probably my favorite... however, Dave Barnes is gaining on him
