Ocean Is Theory:Into The Mouths Of Lions

When you first begin to play the Ocean is Theory EP you can feel the passion these guys have for our Lord. The Album is titled “Into the Mouths of Lions” and was released just this past spring. A local Christian radio station has already begun to play the song “Oh Broken Son”. The album is what I would call very contemporary worship. It is upbeat, and will make you want to sing along. Though only 5 tracks long, there isn’t one song I didn’t like. My personal favorite would be “Plant your fields”. The fact that they combined such a great sound with amazing lyrics shows that these guys will go far. I’ve not only listened to the CD, but read the lyrics to the songs, and the lyrics alone are powerful. Josh, who is the lead vocalist, has an amazing voice and is just as equally matched by the sound of the band. The band consists of 5 guys from Atlanta, the oldest of whom is 20, and the youngest is only 2 years behind at 18. You can check out the band personaly at myspace.com/oceanistheory. I really hope you check these guys out and support them by purchasing a CD and maybe seeing them if they play close to where you live.
