Mainstay came busting out of the gates in 2006 with their debut release "Well Meaning Fiction" and quickly established themselves as one of the top new acts of the year. Songs like "These Pages", "Take Away", and "Danger" caught the attention of the Christian music world. They have come back this year with "Become Who You Are" , which features a slightly more mature sound on the original Mainstay sound, and deals with issues like depression, cynicism and the like. Their unashamed beliefs come through on every song. I had the chance to see these guys just the other night and I have to say that they are some pretty awesome guys! Justin Anderson, lead singer of Mainstay, commented "If you guys came for a rock show, you'll be disappointed. This is a straight up WORSHIP service!" I had the oppurtunity to talk to the guys after the concert. They are some of the most down to earth guys I have ever met. My wife and I got to spend some time with them and talk to them about life, what its like taking so many pictures after a show("Do your jaws hurt after smiling so much?"). At one point, hugs were even exchanged("I dare you to go hug them all!")They truly are devoted to their Heavenly Father and it shows! Check these pictures out!
