This album is all about hope and how we so desperately need to cling to it in these sometimes-troublesome times. The words of the title song, Worth Fighting For, really bring out the sanctity and sacrifice of relationships—the encouragement, prayer, listening and commitment we make to those we love, to those we choose to share our lives with. “True Christianity is about being Christ to others,” Barfield says of the theme of the record. Being a follower of Christ is about sharing life, love and literally being Jesus to other people. The songs really showcase the uniqueness of Barfield’s voice and are beautiful musically and lyrically. I would suggest this album to anyone who is a fan of past albums or for someone looking for encouragement in their relationships with Jesus and others.
